We are happy to share that polytekton was hired recently as an independent graphic designer by ISU Landscape Architecture Professor Emerita Mira Engler to design her latest book, titled Landscape Design in Color: History, Theory, and Practice, 1750 to Today, which has been accepted for publication by Routledge, a self-described “global publisher of academic books, journals and online resources in the humanities and social sciences” which was founded in 1836 and has “published many of the greatest thinkers and scholars of the last hundred years, including Adorno, Einstein, Russell, Popper, Wittgenstein, Jung, Bohm, Hayek, McLuhan, Marcuse and Sartre.” Routledge publishes “thousands of books and journals each year, serving scholars, instructors, and professional communities worldwide. Our current publishing program encompasses groundbreaking textbooks and premier, peer-reviewed research in the Social Sciences, Humanities, Built Environment, Education and Behavioral Sciences” (Quotes from https://www.routledge.com/corporate/about-us accessed 2 November 2021). polytekton will design the book’s interior and cover in collaboration with the author. The anticipated book release is Summer of 2022.
