We just finished the design for a book by Mohammad Tavallaei. The book includes poems covering a wide range of topics, both cultural and political. The author is originally from Shiraz, Iran and lives now in Canada. For the cover design we were looking at old maps of Shiraz, as well as middle-eastern motifs and an atmospheric scene that would reflect the duality of the books title. Using Midjourney as a starting point, we developed the cover design in Adobe InDesign. The title font is Avenir Next. For the interior we used Adobe Garamond Pro for the body, and Avenir Next for the headings (see samples below).
