After reviving Culicidae Architectural Press, which had been folded into Culicidae Press a few years ago, we were asked to design a new logo that would reflect the brand’s updated image and rejuvenated approach to publishing books about architecture and the built environment.
We were tasked recently with the design for a non-profit book publishing house, Hog Press. After pondering the obvious (hogs!), it seemed to make more sense to go obliquely: hogs like nuts, have nuts. Ergo: a pair of hazel nuts. Here’s the final logo design.
